I had an Aspire one for 4 years and it works great. I have no idea how long the battery life really hard, but not die on me. Moreover, viruses, the only problem I had was when the card Ram came to pieces, but after taking the paper and pass port worked well. It 'nice to see movies and things just flow. It is not really hot, the cooling fan is still quiet, the door works fine (though a VGA to TV does not look good). It is ideal for school, collects and keeps the wifi easily.

From account all these bad reviews it seems that Acer fabricated “one” acceptable mini and I happened aloft it. I adulation this little computer. It boots appropriate up if I about-face it on, it’s fast, never slow, it’s actual ablaze weight is why I in fact got it to backpack in my purse so I can still accept admission to my e-mails, internet, etc. if not at home (I am not into those big-ticket corpuscle buzz affairs to get the same…lol.). It’s abundant if you accept that continued delay for a doctors arrangement or cat-and-mouse while acrimonious your kids up from academy or practice, anywhere if you apperceive you accept to wait, or if traveling. I aswell accept the Acer 15.6 inch laptop as able-bodied that I accept never had a botheration with. I say try it and use it frequently if you aboriginal accompany it home so you accept time to acknowledgment it if you acquaintance problems like others did on here.

This is a fun little netbook. It worked right out of the box and is still good. Did not take long to notice, however, that has a power drain, however. After fully charged battery, the battery drains about 20% per day, but only when connected to netbooks. (Charging the battery only beautiful, when the House considers netbooks.) The first time I sent for the service, the BIOS is updated, replaced the battery, and sent them back to me after their standard diagnostic past. However, the problem. You have no power test for the sewer board, and even though I asked him to investigate the problem. Googling shows that this is a fairly common problem with this netbook. The second time I had in me spoke for an hour with customer service — — last success with the motherboard to be replaced. When you send me back a second time, said he replaced the motherboard, but the wireless MAC address remains the sAME and the problem was not resolved. It is unclear to me if they really did replace the motherboard. (It 's still pass diagnostic standard.)
